To develop advanced techniques and associated equipment to examine and evaluate metals, ceramics, composites, films and other materials nondestructively.
Capabilities:
- Computed tomography
- High frequency(HF) and very high frequency(VHF) ultrasonic testing
- Acoustic microscopy
- Nonlinear ultrasonics
- Eddy currents
